Stock Index Futures Rise

Wall Street continues the up and down ride seemingly on the headlines that emerge from the European debt crisis on a daily basis. Investor fear keeps the market reacting to the news. There is hope however that as Europe stabilizes the signs that the economic and earnings news is positive and will strengthen investor confidence. The headlines today on the heals of potential turmoil and rally as Greece implements austerity is that Euro zones bailout facility will be cleared to buy bonds on the secondary market.

Investors continue to monitor the situation with a close eye. Today AT&T and Microsoft are expected to report results for the quarter. As a result the S&P Futures rose 3.2 points, the Dow Jones added 55 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures up 0.25 points.

The Process of Planning

Farmers in Northamptonshire have been urged to show their support for plans to build a new livestock market at Thrapston.

A formal planning application has just been submitted for the proposed mart, which forms part of a new rural agricultural centre. As part of the redevelopment, it is also planned to build a Sainsbury’s store on the existing cattle market site.

Henry H Bletsoe and Son, which operates the market, said the plans had been subject to considerable public debate and urged farmers to register their support. See www.east-northamptonshire.gov.uk and click on “View planning applications” then search for application reference 11/01240/FUL or 11/01234/FUL.

    Repairing Your Credit After Bankruptcy

    Posted by admin On September - 2 - 2011

Once you have filed for bankruptcy, the fact that you filed for bankruptcy remains on your credit report for the next 7 to 10 years, according to most financial experts. But this does not mean that you cannot get a loan or that you cannot get credit for the next 7 to 10 years.

On the contrary, if you play your cards right, you will be able to get new credit the very next day after bankruptcy if you really wanted to. And you should have no problem getting your FICO score back up into the 600s or 700s within two to three years, with a little bit of work and some discipline.

Ironically, the simple fact that your debts have been discharged is a positive, not a negative for your credit. This is because your debt to income ratio will have fallen drastically through your Chapter 13, or will have fallen to zero through your Chapter7.

The simplest way how to repair your credit after bankruptcy is to apply for more credit and demonstrate that you can use it responsibly. But you may be wondering whether that is a catch-22. Read more…
